I love playing golf. I'm playing this week.
This is a great site you have here. I have a sports blog myself and I would like to exchange links with you. When you get a chance, let me know if this is possible, either by email or a comment on my site. Jason
Jason,
Thanks for the comment. What is your site? We will be happy to take a look.

Hello Dave and Marc,
Salutations from The Netherlands! I found your website using Google two days ago. And I must say: Thanks!
I became passionate about golf playing Tiger Woods 09 on my Wii Console and because of that I tried the sport out on a Pitch & Putt course near my city.
I immediately came to the conclusion that indeed, Golf is hard! And that's why you're website comes so in handy. Especially the lessons about hitting the small ball before the big ball and ball position.
With these lessons I managed to hit the ball straight and towards the place I want the ball to go. And managed to shoot from 106 (54 par) to 87 within a week! And my girlfriend shot from 120 to 96!
In a few weeks im going to take some lessons with a registered pro on a driving range to see whether im hitting fast or slow. And thus if I need to buy steel shafted golfclubs or graphite shafted golfclubs.
Maybe you can do a video about purchasing the right golfclubs and what to look for when buying clubs that are suited for oneself?
Anyways. Thanks a lot for this website. And I'll be following it with great attention.

Hello Virgil,
Great to hear from you over in The Netherlands and even better to hear that your and your girlfriend's games are improving.
My question to you: what do you mean by "hitting fast or slow"? Typically, steel shafts are much better for the irons for men (makes the clubs a bit heavier and easier to feel), and graphite shafts for womens' clubs and mens fairway woods and driver.
Good luck and thanks again for your comments. If you wish, send us a video of your swings and we will offer comments.
Have fun out there!
Dave
Hello Dave,
With hitting fast or slow, I mean whether I swing the club hard or slow. Just like you mean it. I tried translating it from dutch to english. As I have gotten the advise to first take some lessons before buying a full set of clubs.
What I miss on a lot of webpages on golf on the internet, is what to look for when buying golfclubs. That's more or less what I meant.
I'll record some of my swings when I go play again and e-mail them.
Regards,
Virgil
