Hey Marc and Coach Dave,
I enjoyed your video post and book review of Ron Greeen's 'The Masters: 101 Reasons to Love Golf's Greatest Tournament.'
Scoring tents were adopted in 1969 as a result of the Roberto DeVicenzo incident in the 1968 Masters. Most people mistakenly think that Bob Goalby -- not Tommy Aaron -- was DeVicenzo's playing partner and scorer. Goalby, by the way, shot a 66 on Sunday, which is one of the lowest final rounds ever shot by a winner. The entire story is recounted in detail in "The Lost Masters : Grace and Disgrace in '68" which was written by Curt Sampson in 2005.
I am looking forward to your upcoming video posts!
